Hillsdale, Old Pueblo Show Speed in Hollywood Trials HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 7. — Hillsdale, pointing for the 0,000 mile and a sixteenth Cali-fornian scheduled for decision two weeks from tomorrow, took the track this morning to go a handy five furlongs in :58 flat. By so doing he clearly indicated that he is progressing sharply in training following a lengthy vacation at Three Rings Ranch after his busy and successful winter campaign at Santa Anita. Old Pueblo, a California hero and winner of the 1957 Del War Futurity, was another to drill this morning. He went six furlongs from the gate in l:10f£, handily, under the eye of trainer Bob Wheeler. The Cal-bred Old Pueblo had been on the shelf at the Peter McBean Ranch, near Newhall, until the last week of the Santa Anita meeting when he was returned for light training. His spin this morning indicated he is about up to a race.
