Y., May 12. — Rockburn Farms Recite, a winner here last out at Jamaica, prepped for the 0,000 Acorn Stakes with a 7 furlongs jaunt in 1:26% after posting impressive fractions of :47% for the half mile, and 1:13% for the three-quarters. Calais Dover; from the Howell E. Jackson barn and a possible starter in Saturdays fixture, was merely galloping through her work and was caught in 1:29 for 7 panels. Trainer "Sunny Jim" Fitzsimmons put Wheatley Stables High Bid to a 7-furlongs trial and the bay filly responded with fractions of :48Vs. 1:13 and out her distance in 1:27 handily. Bridgework stepped a half mile in :48% while Polamby covered the same distance in :48. Polambys work came from the starting gate. Trainer Johnny Nerud used the Belmont training strip as the scene of Ask the Princes 5-panel 1:00 move and C. Mahlon Klines Greek Discovery dashed 4 furlongs in :49 over the same training strip.
