THE CURRAGH moved well from outside of the leader to reach the front just before the final eighth and drew off under punishment. BOKEER rallied strongly on the final turne, then lacked the necessary late response. COLONEL PAT, hustled to gain the early lead, held on fairly well after being headed. DIG ME saved ground on the final turn and finished well while not good enough. FOXY SILVER was no threat. STAR OF PERSIA tired, as did VERAfJlTY. THATS THIS GAME could not enter contention.
