Also named for the new 6 furlongs stakes, which honors the nearby Tri-State Toll-way, are Carrie C. Hillocks Quantrell, who finished a close-up third to First Landing in the second division of the Derby Trial. Also expected to see action in Mondays Tri-State are Jacnot Stables Kentucky Derby starterT Die Hard, and Silver Creek Farms fleet Roman Colonel, who won three straight at Gulfstream Park. Fightin Indian placed in several stakes at Santa Anita last winter, including a third-place finish behind Silver Spoon and Royal Orbit in the 00,0p0-added Santa Anita Derby after setting a blistering pace. The Molter trainee has been working in ; splendid style since arriving with Round Table last month.
