The latter rallied to pressure but was not good enough. ANOTHER HYACINTH set most of the pace and bobbled at the thirteenth and fourteenth jumps, following which he dropped far back. -FOLLIES BERGERE could not retain a contending position. CHANTER, always formidable, rallied when urged but was not good enough. THE SPANIEL rallied when roused to encage the leader, then was unable to respond further. MODEST JOHN lacked the needed late response. BOFUS, hard held while racing prominently, flattened cut when set down for the drive. JUNIORS FIRST set the pace ?nd gave way.
