J. B. PARTRIDGES PURCHASES LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 23.— John B* Partridge, former trainer of the Shandon Farm Stable of R. J. and P. A. Nash, purchased from Joseph E. Widener the two-year-olds Militia, a chestnut son of Fair Play — Zephyretta; Gamonia, a brown daughter: of Fair Play — Franconia; Guard Rail, a chestnut son of Fair Play — Morgosa; Last Play, a bay son of Fair Play — Rose Pompon* and Maloga, a chestnut son of John P. Grier, — Magot. Zephyretta, the dam of Militia„ won six straight races for owner Widener, while Last Play is the last foal of the dead sire Fair Play. Fluent, which he purchased from B. B. Williams, and Crystal Prince, which he claimed from P. C. Thompson, were shipped to Washington Park Sunday night. The two-year-olds were vanned in from Wideners Elmendorf Farm Sunday morning.
