COMMISSION DEFERS ACTION LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 23.— Action on the applications of jockeys Jake Heupel and Willie Pool, for licenses was deferred by a unanimous vote of four of the five menu bers of the State Racing Commission who met in special session at the Brown Hotel here Saturday night. The applications will be acted upon at the first meeting attended by the five members of the board, it was indicated. Commissioners Polk Laffoon, chairman; S. S. Combs, Theodore W. Mueller and William E. Smith attended the meeting. Frazer Le Bus was the absentee.
