1 — w BELMONTS CHARITY DAY NEW YORK, N. Y., May 23.— Joseph E. Widener has turned over Belmont Park for the relief of the unemployed of Nassau county June 6, the final Monday of the current meeting. For the occasion the emergency work relief bureau of that county is going forward with elaborate preparations to make the day a big one for the worthy charity, and it is suggested that there may be a cut in the price of admission in the hope of having the crowd as large as is possible. Mr. Widener is working for the success of the charity himself, and the horsemen at Belmont Park have promised lwarty co-operation.
