GALLANT KNIGHTS FAST MILE HOMEWOOD, 111., May 23.— Gallant Knight, brilliant five-year-old in B. B. Jon. - Audley Farm Stable, turned in a fine trial in preparation for the Suburban Handicap, at Belmont Park, when he went a mile in 1:394,£, handily, and cantered out an additional eighth in 1:54%, at Washington Park Sunday. The son of Bright Knight and Ethel Gray went the half mile in :49%, and the three-quarters in 1:14. He will be shipped to New York tonight and return later for his engagement in the Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap. • .
