• I ; 1 DETROIT TURF NOTES * . Nominations for the ,500 added Royal Oak Handicap, for three-year-olds and upward, at one mile, closed Saturday. The stake will feature next Saturdays program. Joseph A. Murphy, who is acting as racing secretary during the absence of Charles McLennan, also called horsemens attention to the Troy Handicap. It carries a ,260 value and will be run Wednesday. Nominations for this race close Monday. The horses Marion Allen brought here from Fairmount Park are: Whipper Cracker, Wild Cress, Justa Sheik and Black Flash. J. H. Tate had Whisking, John MiH, Transbird and Wilirah in the same car, and J. Cross unloaded Wise Eddie, Dunny Boy, Blind Raftery and Annarita.
