PRAISE WORK OF MARA CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., July 7.— The work of starter Walter Mara has come in for considerable praise, not only from the management but the horsemen and public as well. Mara has had wonderful success k with as bad a lot of horses as has ever been fathered together at any one meeting. He leaves for New York tomorrow. Mara was formerly head assistant starter for Marshall Cassidy.
