FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES ] ,*— . — — e Before leaving for Bainbridge, W. R. Sal lee reported Clang as doing well. The two-year-old is turned out at Charlton Clays farm at Paris, Ky., and has grown and filled out rapidly. The colt has gained more than 100 pounds since turned out this past spring. . Equator, War Dimes and Dave Mearns, the property of Miss M. Evans, left Saturday for Hawthorne. In the same shipment D. Soddard will forward Vin Noir. Monkey Shine, recently purchased from . I Staehle Brothers by F. Roenigke, will be ! rested here for two. weeks before shipping to Dade Park. Gold Tip and Grand Flight, the property of Fortier Brothers; M. Resseguets All Night, and P. C. Staehles Newshawk were shipped to New Orleans Friday and will be rested for fall racing in Texas.. C. K. Stull, trainer for Hunsaker and Kirby, sent Draha and Computer to Marion, 111., to be rested before shipping to Dade Park. I W. A. Mikel plans vanning the five he has here to Bainbridge in a few days. Mikel sent Cut Price and Baptiste back to the farm at Bloomington, 111., Friday. J. Umensetter will let up on his horses quartered here for about ten days. Jack Murphy, Demagogue, Mary McCarthy, False Piety, Joe Baker and Salesring will be sent to Dade Park in two weeks. Umensetter fired Demagogue and the horse wont be ready for racing until the latter part of the Dade Park meeting. L. M. Holmes sent Canteron, Old Bill and Noels First to Hawthorne Saturday. The nine head G. F. Jenkins raced here will be shipped by van to Bainbridge early ! this week. Belen pulled up so lame in her race on Wednesday H. Cavanaugh decided to remain here several days, and cancelled his reservation on the special which left for Bainbridge. Cavanaugh will probably add to his stable a few horses offered him now racing at Latonia. Before shipping to Bainbridge T. Root | fired and blistered Polaire, and the horse , will be turned out for the summer. Root | has Kyso for his own account, and is train-j ing the two-year-old, Trample, for B. Parke. Thistle Lucy, the property of Mrs. S. F. Murphy, died Friday morning. The five I here in charge of her husband will be for-i warded to Dade Park in two weeks. Mrs. H. G. Hydes St. Mica, Runanwin and Elegy were vanned to Bainbridge Friday I morning, while Crystal Flyer, Jerry Key- | stone and King Today were sent to the same . track Friday night. C. D. Rose, who is training a public stable, expects to remain here two weeks before shipping to Dade Park. Rose blistered Song Hit Friday and has Peace Emblem back in training, and hopes to have him ready for racing at Dade Park.
