DADE PARK BOOKS ISSUED • Twenty-Six Day Meeting Will Begin on Saturday, August 4. — • riinimum Purse of 00, With Numerous Features Scheduled — List of Racing Officials Made Known. HENDERSON, Ky., July 7.— The first condition book for the twenty-six day summer meeting of the Dade Park Jockey Club v/as issued today. The meeting will open Saturday, August 4, with the Inaugural Handicap for three-year-olds and over, six furlongs, for a purse of ,000, and will close on Labor Day, Monday, September 3, with the Labor Day Handicap for three-year-olds and over, one mile and a furlong, for a purse of ,000. Other feature races during the meeting include the Governors Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, at a mile, for a purse of ,500, on Saturday, August 11; the A. B. Dade Memorial Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, one mile and forty yards, for a purse of ,000, on Saturday, August 25, and the A. M. Fisher Handicap for two-year-olds, for a purse of ,000, on Saturday, September 1. The program calls for seven races daily with the minimum purse at 00, and at least one 00 purse each day, with the exception of those days upon which feature races are run. The Kentucky State Racing Commission has approved the following officials for the coming meeting: T. C. Bradley, W. H. Shelley, and J. J. Graddy, stewards; N. H. McClelland, Fred Burton and Craddy, placing judges; McClelland, clerk of scales; Shelley, racing secretary; Burton, entry clerk; James Rash, timer; Dr. I. M. Hendrick, paddock judge; Quinn Cogar and William Synder, patrol judges, and William Hamilton, starter. Shelley succeeds the late Brownwell Berry-man, Lexington, as racing secretary. The other officials have been serving at Dade Park for several years.
