1 FORT ERIE TURF N0TES~~ 1 $ __ ® The stable of Elmer James, which was recently acquired by private sale from W. C. Irvine, arrived from Long Branch Saturday. The combined stables of D. Cainer and R. Ripley, consisting of the good Canadian-bred George E. Miller, Edward, Koji, Four Square and Emerald Lake, came from Calgary, Alberta. Jockey T. Atkinson will ride for the Ripley Stable. The E. Smith stable from Hamilton includes Royal Question and Canterwood, and are under Paddy Burns.
