NOEL GIVEN TRAINERS LICENSE LATONIA, Ky., July 7.— Former jockey Grover Noel, who was suspended in 1926, was restored to good standing when granted a trainers license at the meeting of the Kentucky State Racing Commission at La-tonia Saturday. Tommy Murray also was granted a license. After an appeal to the commission by F. Gering, Jr., in regard to the drastic suspen-aion meted out to him by the stewards, the latter modified their ruling. Gerings suspension now terminates August 1. The suspension was dealt out for violation of the narcotic rule.
