HOWARD THURSTON DIES MIAMI BEACH, Fla., April 14. Howard Thurston, noted magician, died at his apartment here early Monday morning. He was 66 years of age and had come here in an attempt to regain his health. He made an attempted comeback shortly after Christmas, but was forced to abandon his plans. Thurston was born in Columbus, Ohio, and was a magician from youth. He began a world tour in 1904, which lasted until 1907. Upon his return to this country he was hailed as one of the greatest magicians of the century.
