I HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES s According to advices from the Maryland Jockey Club, all reservations for reserved seats for Preakness day have been disposed of. Trainer P. M. Walker shipped the Howe stables Cycle to Jamaica to fulfill his engagement in the Paumonok Handicap on Wednesday. Jockey R. Merritt went along to ride, but will return to accept mounts at Havre de Grace on Thursday. Trainer R. Curran announced that he is pointing the Araho Stables Howard for the Philadelphia Handicap, to be decided at Havre de Grace on April 25. J. J. OByrne reported the loss of the useful three-year-old gelding Reunited, which succumbed to shipping fever at Bowie. "Jockey Charles Rosengarten, under contract to Walter M. Jeffords, accepted his first mount of the season when he was astride Petee Blue in the second race Tuesday. Frank Capra is handling the lads engagements, along with those of jockey M. Peters. John P. Turner is compiling the condition books for the forthcoming meetings at Thorncliffe Park and Hamilton, Ont. Turner will act as racing secretary at both tracks. Starter Bob Frend arrived from Epsom Downs, Texas, and distributed stake blanks for Rockingham Park among the horsemen. Frend will dispatch the fields at the Salem course. Jockey R. "Sonny" Workman passed through on his way to Jamaica, where he will swing into action at once. Jack Healey will arrive at Havre de Grace on Wednesday with a half dozen of the C. V. Whitney stable performers, that will include Bright Plumage, winner of the Consolation Derby at Tropical Park-; Microbe, Trumpery, Savings, Two Bob and a two-year-old. Stalls have already been bedded for the reception of the horses. The first issue of the condition book for the Maryland Jockey Club meeting at Pim-lico, beginning Wednesday, April 29, were brought to Havre de Grace from the printer and distributed among the horsemen at the Susquehanna course. The issue embraces the first eight days of the fourteen-day session at the Hilltop course. Eighty-five riders are available to accept mounts during the current meeting at Havre de Grace, according to a check made by the clerical staff here. Frank J. Bryan, veteran racing official, who will serve as racing secretary and han-dicapper for the Maryland Jockey Club at Pimlico, was an arrival and will begin preparations for the coming meeting. Edward J. Brennan departed for Cumberland. Md., to inspect two new enclosed cottage barns that are being erected by the Cumberland Fair Association and look over other improvements that are under construction. Nomination blanks for the two-day hunt meeting to be staged on the estate of Mrs. J. Packard Laird at Berwyn, Pa on May 6 and 9, can be obtained from William Shew-bridge, who is circulating among the horsemen at Havre de Grace. Entries close on April 27.
