Mars Milky Way Farms Trio Big Favorite With Texas Fans ARLINGTON, Texas, April 14 Saturday, the eyes of the turf world will be focused on Arlington Downs, where the fourth renewal of the 5,000 added Texas Derby, outstanding feature of the southwest, will be decided and may attract to the post, perhaps the largest field of noted three-year-olds ever to parade in the local history of the sport. Famous thoroughbreds, nearly all winners, such as J. Carters Holl Image; W. C. Good-loes Seventh Heaven; Butsey Hernandez Flag Cadet and Lolschen; Mrs. Silas B. Masons He Did; Mrs. Raymond Pollards High-omar; Joe Roberts Tugboat Frank; A. G. Tarns Rushaway and Miss Bam; R. C. Thatchers Sundad; Three Ds Stock Farms Irish Ford; C. Troutts Palm Island, and Mrs. Ethel V. Mars The Fighter, the favorite, Sangreal and Doran, are among the almost certain starters. Others probably will be added to the list, which, if around twenty start, will carry a purse value in excess of 0,000. Some of those already thought certain starters might fall by the wayside and some yet in obscurity might flash brilliance which would induce owners and trainers to make last minute switches and additions.
