Clyde Van Dusen, trainer of Dixiana horses, will take Erin Torch, Kentucky Derby eligible,, and nine others to Churchill Downs tomorrow morning. Trainer Dick Thompson worked Banister and Bien Joli, Col. E. R. Bradleys Derby pair, a mile over the heavy, holding Idle Hour farm track yesterday afternoon, and today said the move was not satisfactory in that the footing was poor and difficult, and that no opportunity was afforded for proper determination of merit or the lack of it. Sims is convalescing at his Xalapa Farm, near Paris, from a four-month illness, but it will be some time before he can travel. John H. Morris mare DAmoris dam of Henrietta Wildair, by Sain, died at Bosque Bonita Farm yesterday. She injured herself by getting into a water trough, and then dropped dead.
