Edwin Yager took down second money of 00, and Charley Shultz third "money of 00. Older riders will get a break in a jockey contest that Bing Crosby will sponsor at Bay Meadows. Those jockeys, who do not enjoy the five pounds apprentice allowance will fight it put, all by themselves, and the leader at the end of twenty-five days racing will receive 00.
