WAITE CHANGES OPERATION HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 20. Charles M." Waite, inventor of the movie "camera eye" in use at Havre de Grace, has changed the operation of his camera so that pictures are now shown the correct way of the track instead of reverse, which was the former operation. Mr. Waite also wishes to correct the impression existing that the machine is electrically operated. He pointed out that the machine is operated by a hand lever which turns the film to take forty pictures every second. The film is delivered to the judges two minutes after that film is withdrawn from the camera and it is later placed on display for the observation of. the public.
