Hamm, Jr., of St. Paul, which took place three years ago, has been apparently solved, since Department of Justice heads announced the arrest of three men, said to be key figures in the crime which netted them 00,000. Among those seized was Edward C. Barthol-mey, a leading citizen and postmaster of Bensenville, 111. The others taken into cus- . tody were Charles J. Fitzgerald, who has a long criminal record, and John Pfeiffer, St. Paul gambler and bootlegger.
