j I 1 ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES and s One of the largest shipments to leave Arlington Downs for Churchill Downs, will consist of the stables of F. A. Griffith, Jack Carter and R. C. Thatcher, which will be loaded for the Kentucky track Sunday. C. C. Winters leased the services of F. Polk for the remainder of the Arlington Downs meeting. Efforts are being made to locate the relatives of Walter Allen, who died at Phoenix, Ariz. He is supposed to have a sister living in Waco, Texas. Allen was 35 years old, five feet eight inches in height and has black or dark brown hair. For further information his friends can call operator elcvan. Phoenix, Ariz. Earl Smith, manager of Valdina Farm, motored down from Sabinal, Texas, to witness the running of the Derby. In company with E. F. Woodward, they-left for Valdina Farm Saturday night. Woodward and Smith plan to leave Sabinal some time -next week for Churchill Downs, where they will main until the close "of the Louisville season. The Valdina Farm horses were shipped to Churchill Downs Sunday.
