INSPECTION EARNS PURSE COLUMBUS, Ohio. May 14.— Inspection carried Mrs. F. E. Turners colors to victory in the Pepper Club Purse, best offering at Beulah Park this afternoon, although she lasted only long enough to score by a head from the fast finishing Wind Song. Ski came from far back to beat the others home. Favorable weather conditions prevailed, but I the track was slow, following yesterdays rain, and the attendance was above the average. Granbury, Fight Back and Snoops all led throughout in their respective races, the two former, though, only scoring by narrow margins. Lovely Amelia came from behind in the latter stages of the fourth, winning with much to spare.
