COST OF LIVING UP NEW YORK, N. Y, May 14.— In a survey conducted by the National Industrial Conference Board during the month of April it was revealed that an advance of two-tenths of 1 per cent in the cost of living for wage earners took place, in comparison with the figures for the month of March. At 84.3 per cent of the 1932 average, the cost of living as measured by the index is 1.3 per cent higher than a year ago.
