SPRING MEETING II The Pimlico meeting of sixteen days was conducted from April 29 to May 16, during which time 127 races were run and 65,275 distributed in stakes and purses, the average daily disbursement being 0,329.69. The big stake features of the meeting were the Preakness and Dixie Handicap, the former being of a net value of 7,325 and the latter ,500. M. L. Schwartz, by virtue of Bold Ventures spectacular triumph in the Preakness, heads the money winning owners for the meeting, as does his great three-year-old colt, Bold Venture, the horses. J. Bryson, with eleven victories to his credit, tops the jockeys and a three-way tie took place for training honors, with H. Baker, H. G. Bed-well and R. E. Potts, each having saddled six winners.
