° AURORA TURF NOTES | ♦ « C. A. Bidencope, trainer for J. Dire, has recovered from a foot injury he sustained several days ago when he was stepped on by one of his horses. Jockey Milton Terry departed Tuesday night for Winnipeg, where he will ride for A. G. Tarn during the Canadian season. Nelson Ings, trainer of a division of the Tarn stable, shipped twelve horses to the Dominion at the same time. C. E. Davison has cancelled his stall reservations at Detroit and will transfer his stable of thoroughbreds to Hawthorne at the close of the current season at the Fox Valley track. A. J. Halliwell, who arrived by plane a few days ago, left for his home in Toronto Wednesday morning. Dr. C. N. Finch purchased the contract that G. Felkner held on apprentice H. P. Ferguson and the youngster will accompany the Finch stable to Omaha, Neb., later in the week. Acting for Born and Born, A. A. Swenke purchased the plater Golden X. and the horse performed in the interests of his new owners Wednesday afternoon. The terms of the transaction were private. C. C. Kranz, acting for Mrs. C. C. Kranz, purchased Dancing Lady from F. E. McDonald Wednesday morning at a private sale.
