PASS EM BY was rushed into command after the break, showed good speed throughout and drew clear in the final eighth, winning with speed in reserve. ETHELS CHOICE, away well and a forward factor all the way, raced through on the inside, made a determined bid when called upon, but could not menace the winner. TRINA, on the outside but racing straight throughout, was placed under pressure in the final quarter mile and finished well. WISE BUN, well up under restraint, made a determined bid in the final eighth, but then hung. GRAND JESTER showed an even effort all the way. HIS NIBS had no mishaps in the running. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. CHICSTRAW, away well but outrun in the early stages, improved his position under urging, came between the leaders entering the stretch and finished with a rush to wear down MICROPHONE in the final drive. The latter was rushed into command after the break, raced FRAIDY CAT into defeat, saved ground and held on with good courage. TIME CLOCK was outrun to the stretch turn, came to the outside and Finished with a rush. IRISH TED moved up with determination when called upon, made a determined bid in the stretch and finished on his own courage. PATSEY BEGONE showed a good effort all the way and saved much ground. Won easily; second and third the same. POMPOON broke well but swerved over towards the inside, was rushed sharply and drew away, winning with ease. YOUR HONOR broke slowly, but raced up in nearest pursuit of the pace, was placed under pressure in the final quarter, but could not menace the winner. ALL AGOG was kept forwardly from the start, responded to pressure, but then hung at the finish. MISAPPREHENSION came again at the finish and finished well. COURT SCANDAL, on the outside, raced well and closed resolutely. SUNNY JOE showed an even effort throughout. KNAVE HIGH had no mishaps. BILLIE BANE was rushed into command after the break, showed early speed, but bore out nearing the finish. BOW TO ME broke sluggishly and was outrun early, then closed ground steadily at the finish. JOYRIDE, well up in the early stages, showed a good effort, although tiring at the end. WHA HAE was bothered in the early running. TONYS WIFE dropped back after the break. UNDER THE GUNS was outrun. VALSE was rushed into command after the break, was rated along steadily, but was squeezed back nearing the stretch turn, then bore out through the stretch run and was not persevered with. BRIGHT EMERALD, outrun to the stretch turn, came throuch on the inside and finished well. RUFFY slipped through on the inside in the early running, but tired at the end.
