WOODBINE PARK NOTES $ Arthur Brent, trainer of the Erindale Stable, reported that Sandalman, a starter here a few days ago, was cut down and. that the chestnut gelding wilL likely be on the ailing list for most of the season. E. Craigie, who has a useful stable under shelter at Woodbine Park, stated that he would have, the firing irons applied to Mettle and Relativity and that they would be turned but at Thorncliffe Park. Craigie will ship the plater Shepherd Boy to Suffolk Downs after the close of the Thorncliffe meeting. J. P. Mayberry, acting for the J. U. Grat-ton stable, disposed of the three-year-old Supremus filly Zowie to the Erindale Stable prior to the first race, and the filly performed in the interest of her new owner in the second race. Jockey Frank Madeley will remain to ride during the coming seven-day meeting at Thorncliffe Park, after which he will pull stakes for Suffolk Downs. C. Hagan, owner of the useful sprinter Governor Bill, has decided to have the three-year-old son of Ariel and Foxy unsexed before he again appears in competition. The jumping division of the H. R. Bain stable, in charge of J. Bosley, Jr., will be transferred to New York some time next week.
