ARROW HEART came around the outside of the early leaders on the stretch turn and cutting to the rail after heading COLONEL B. B., easily held the latter to the finish. COLONEL B. B. was close up from the start, tired when challenged by the winner, but came again on the outside of the latter near the finish. COLONEL LE showed improvement and was always well up. BERT VAN tired. ARVANNA, close to the pace from the start, moved to the front in the stretch when OARMOUNT began fo tire and had enough left at the end to hold NOIR LIGHT. The latter came around on the outside in the stretch to finish fastest. OARMOUNT raced to the front early to open up a good lead, but tired in the stretch. MOVE AWAY closed ground steadily and was going well at the finish. RUNHELEN tired. ANGELITA dropped many lengths back of the early leaders, saved ground around the stretch turn, but was shut off and was forced to pull up while making her run. THIRD RACE 5 1-2 FURLONGS. SECRET TRYST displayed the most early speed, but tired and barely lasted to hold ULTRA VOTE. The latter showed much improvement to save ground in the stretch." HER HERO, snatched up when in close quarters early, was all over the track in the last quarter. JIM McCONNELL tired in the stretch. DR. TWINK had some early speed. LEPIDUS broke slowly. BESS COT raced on even terms with MAE to the far turn, then drew out after having the latter in close quarters and had enough left to withstand another challenge near the finish. MAE dropped back around the far turn, but continued next to the rail entering the stretch to loom up dangerously and raced fairly well to the finish. SUN TRYST was going strongly at the end. WELL DRESSED raced fairly well. HOME GEORGE was in close quarters early and tired after reaching third place. Scratched 27160 Fanlo, 108. COTLO BESS made a strong move around the stretch turn and headed . the field, but tired near the finish. DEVILISH NICK overcame early interference to finish well. MILES STANDISH could not keep up. CHARMING MISS was rushed into exhaustion heading HY LOU and, opening up a good advantage, had nothing left. HY LOU and MISS SAVAGE tired badly in the stretch. REGISTERITE was badly outrun early. .
