LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Frank Chojnacki, Cicero, Illinois, contribution to the ranks of American riders, went into a tie for first place with J. Nolan by riding seven winners last week, while the latter was piloting three. The leaders are credited with ninety-seven winners each with Chojnacki having a one-point margin on his rival in the percentage column. Last -weeks honors for number of winners ridden, however, went to C. Stevenson, Americas leading rider of 1935, who scored with eleven of his mounts, a flash of his last years form, which earned him the championship after a close race with Wayne Wright. Stevenson shared honors with A. Cooper, however, the latter just including his name among the thirty leading American riders by riding eleven winners, the records of the leaders from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday being as follows: Last Jockey.
