ROCK X. AND CHALLITE RETURN Rock X. and Challite, which journeyed to Detroit to represent the Tranquillity Farm Stable in their respective stake engagements, were returned here Monday. Challite, a speedy daughter of Challenger II., was successful in annexing the St. Clair Stakes, while Rock X. was unplaced in the Belle Isle Handicap, finishing eighths in the close finish which climaxed the . race, and only two and a half lengths separated him from the victorious Westy Junior. Trainer Edward Snyder and jockey Willie Mbran also returned to Hawthorne,
