KITTYS RIVAL took command shortly after the break, saved ground while making the pace and easily held SANDVATO safe. SANDVATO raced in closest pursuit of the winner all the way, but did not threaten. GLORIA G., forced to race wide early, saved ground entering the stretch and finished gamely. DONNACONA KID closed gamely in the stretch. FAIR FELLOW showed a good effort. WINDY ROSS broke from outside the gate and, showing good speed all the way, shook off SISTER JEAN on the lower turn, bore out badly entering the stretch, but held the field safe. SISTER JEAN, closest to the winner throughout, saved ground entering the stretch, but could not get up. SWEET MANNERS, forced to race wide to enter contention, finished namely in the stretch. BYLARIA broke well, but lacked- early speed, raced wide to enter contention and was going gamely at the end. JESSIE COPPAGE closed gamely. OKLAHOMA FARMER showed early speed. GENERAL BOY, given an incompetent ride, was taken back shortly after the break, saved ground on the lower turn, took a short lead after passing the three-quarter post, but his rider was of no help to him in the drive. MARCHLINE broke fast, showed good speed, bore out entering the stretch, finished gamely when straightened out and was going well at the end. FAN AWAY lost ground by racing wide. LASSIES SON, on the outside in the early stages, dropped back slightly on the low:er turn, closed gamely in the stretch and was going well at the end.
