ETHELS CHOICE broke rapidly and moved into command with a rush, bore vcr slightly on GRAND JESTER rounding the turn and drew away, but was kept under urging to the end. GRAND JESTER, fractious at the post, broke well and showed early speed, then came to the outside when the. winner, bore, over and finished fast. TRINA was bothered after the break, worked her way up steadily and finished well under urging. DEBATE raced forwardly from the start and had no mishaps. GUMPTION, blocked in the early running, came to. the outside for the stretch and finished well. WISE BUN raced forwardly from the start, but faltered at the finish. Won ridden out; second and third easily. PAPER MOON jumped well and, kept forwardly in the running, moved up on the outside of the leaders in the final half mile, then assumed command and held COLLATERAL safe. The latter improved his position steadily, responded to urging when called upon, made a bad landing at the final hedge and finished stoutly. CLONARD showed speed while jumping well from the start and had no mishaps. THE IMMORTAL II., outrun in the early stages, finished well on the outside. CROOKED LANE showed a good effort. CHAMPS ELYSEES had no mishaps. JOL1E KNIGHT had early speed, but quit badly. ALARIC lost its rider at the fifth hurdle. THIRD RACE 5-8 MILE. Miss Star, Sept. 25, 1922 :57 2 107. The latter was rushed into command after the break, showed speed while saving ground at the stretch turn and held on well. CAPITOL HILL raced forwardly from, the start and outlasted NIGHT RAVEN in the final drive. The latter, on the inside all the way, was in close quarters at the end. SEAMYTH was taken up at the start and was steered wide entering the stretch. BRAVADO raced well. VITOX began slowly, but could not menace the loaders under urging. KING SAXON broke with his field but propped after taking a stride, was placed under pressure rounding the stretch turn after losing ground and finished well. GALLANT MAC made a determined bid rounding the far turn and then faltered.
