CASE ACE MAY START AT ARLINGTON DOWNS ARLINGTON, Texas, April 8. Eight eligi-bles for Saturdays renewal of the ,000 added Blue Bonnet Handicap, were seen in useful preparations over a fast track at Arlington Downs this morning. Transmutable worked six furlongs, the Blue Bonnet distance in 1:16ts, and Bold Lover and Morning Mail went five-eighths in 1:03. Boston Sound was timed the same distance in 1:01 and Bacon in 1:05. Marcabala, Tricky Miss and Whisking were limited to half-mile spins, the former covering it in :49, Tricky Miss in :49 and Whisking in :51. In the event of a fast track, racing secretary William H. Shelley expects a dozen or more of the twenty-five eligibles to be under FIors- Robert McGarvey, trainer for Milky Way Farm stated this morning that Case Ace probably would start in the six furlongs sprint and he probably would nominate Dog-away as a companion. With Bacon, Boston Sound, Reaping, Transmutable and Empty Bottle practically assured positions in the starting field. Case Ace, under 116 pounds, two pounds less than the older Empty Bottle, forces him to concede much weight by the scale, has a hard task before him.
