DATES FOR BAGLEY PARK FROM MAY 15 TO JUNE 27 SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 8 It was learned today that dates for the coming meeting at Vancouver, Wash., would be sought from the Washington State Racing Commission during the coming week. The directors of the track will request dates from May 15 to June 27, inclusive. With meetings to follow at Longacres and Spokane, the state of Washington will have over 100 days of racing during the coming summer. The Bagley Park half-mile track at Vancouver, Wash., where the races are to be held, will be remodeled. It will be made into a five-eighths track, with exceptionally wide turns. Other improvements will be made. The decision to race at Bagley Park came about through a disagreement between the management of the proposed Portland Downs track at Portland, Ore., and the Oregon racing commission. The Portland Downs people could not obtain the dates sought for racing in Oregon, so switched their scene of activijy across the Columbia River to Vancouver. Bagley Park" is about ten miles from downtown Portland.
