NO SIR TO START ONCE BEFORE KENTUCKY DERBY LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 15. Present plans of Miss Mary Hirsch for her splendid three-year-old and Kentucky Derby candidate, No Sir, do not call for his appearance under colors before the Downs meeting when he may start in one "overnight" race before trotting to the post for the Derby. This gelded son of Sortie, purchased last year by Miss Hirsch from Jack Joyner, who was acting for Mrs. G. D. Widener, has been going along in fine fashion since arriving here from Miami where he barely missed getting home in front in the Flamingo Stakes while accounting for one and finishing second in two other of five starts at Hialeah Park. Miss Hirsch is reported to have paid ?5,000 for her sparkling color-bearer.
