SEABISCUIT IN GOOD MOVE Works Six Furlongs in 1:14 in Preparation for Saturdays Marcbbank Handicap. SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 15. Tanforan dockers have pronounced Seabiscuit fit and ready for the Marchbank Handicap after a fine workout by the Howard horse Thursday morning. Breaking well and going the first quarter in company with his fleet stable-mate Exhibit, the son of Hardtack reeled off the first half mile in :47, the five-eighths in 1:00 and the three-quarters in 1:14. The move of Seabiscuit was a splendid one and left little doubt that he would go to the post in Saturdays 0,000 added race. He turned hi3 work in handy fashion and displayed no signs of soreness after being pulled up. Seabiscuit early in the week was bothered with a fevered hoof caused by a platers error, but seemed himself once again in Thursdays trial sprint. Special Agent and Indian Broom, the A. C. T. Stock Farm pair, which loom as Seabls-cuits chief rivals in the Marchbank Handicap, confined their Thursday activities to slow gallops. They went one mile. Indian Broom has shown no sign of sulkiness in his work and will be given a short speed run Friday. Firm believers in California breeding are stringing along with Don Roberto in the Marchbank Handicap, and if the big fellow continues in his present condition he will run a good race and will have no excuses He turned a mile in 1:42 Thursday morning, spinning the half in :50, the three-quarters in 1:15 and the seven-eighths in 1-27 He was tugging at the bit at the end of his work and exercise boy, Tuffy Goodrich had some trouble taking him up.
