r- , PASS FAIRMOUNT BILL SPRINGFIELD, III, April 28. The senate today passed with the emergency clause the Lager house bill in the interest of Fairmount race track, near Collinsville. The vote was: Ayes, 40; nayes, 2. . The bill, which now goes to the governor for signature, amends the horse racing act. It reduces the daily license fee of tracks located in counties with less than 250,000 population and more than fifty miles from any city in Illinois having a population of 1,000,000 or more, from ,000 to 00, and raises the amount of commission to be retained by tracks in such counties from 8 to 9 per cent. ... ............. ......... 4
