NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES ! Post time at Narragansett for the spring, and summer meetings has been set for 2:15 p m. The "Daily Double" will be decided on the first and second races and the windows handling this type of wager will close at 2:00 p. m. At this writing, seven days before the opening there are more than 500 horses already on the grounds at Narragansett Park. Many good meetings have been run with less. But additional arrivals, are reporting every minute of the day and when the first bugle blows on May 1, there will not be a vacant stall on the lot. Secretary Horgan plans to accommodate around 1,180 head of horses.
