RIVERSIDE PARK NOTES Nine head, the property of Dr. J. A. Black-well, noted Texas breeder, arrived at Riverside Park in charge of trainer Buddy Tiller. Of the nine head five are two-year-olds, which were bred by their owner, and have been granted the following names by The Jockey Club: Termison, Irving H., Shorty B., Cody Ann and Never Blue. The older horses are Swing Corners, Miss Ward, Kate T. and Sayloma. Sky Haven and Towson, which were wintered at Smithville, were moved to Riverside by their owner, W. McKinley. The Jones Stock Farm, of Parnell, Mo., whose colors have always played an important part in the running of two-year-old races here, unloaded seven head at the track here Wednesday. Four two-year-olds and three older horses weer in the shipment, which arrived in charge of Jimmy Jones, manager of the farm. The two-year-olds are French Bread, Private Life, Curious and Vintage, while the older ones are Red Magic, Fob and Wild Beauty. Walter Harned, with George, Dixie Dan and General Boy, was an arrival from Hot Springs. The Three Ds Stock Farm of Arlington, Texas, has been granted stalls for twelve head, which will be shipped here at the conclusion of the Arlington Downs meeting. They will be in charge of Jack Hayes, who for several years has been the manager of the famous Texas breeding establishment. Russell Jewett, prominent local sportsman, who has branched out in the racing game in a large way, and whose stable is trained by Vic Gallo, has requested stalls for the following horses: Forced Landing, Donnahona, David W., Weelukie, Jockana, Jeffrey, Merme and Swiftspot. The latter two are two-year-olds. The Jewett stable has been shipped to Aurora and will be brought here at the conclusion of that meeting. Dr. H. Becker, manager of the Hopeful Stock Farm, at Florence, Ky has written in for reservations for four horses, which he intends shipping here at the end of the Churchill Downs meeting.
