MAHONY SELECTS CREW PIMLICO, Md., April 28. Mortimer M. Mahony, head of the mutuel department, will have a picked crew to operate the betting pavilion for the entire meeting here. Those selected were given instructions in the operation of the totalizator Wednesday, when several tests were held and adjustments made In the vast electrical system. Mahony stated that booths will be installed on Preakness Day to permit betting several hours in advance of the race.
