EXOTUDE LACKS SPEED SAN MATEO, Calif., April 28 The old ringer, Exotude, failed to make much impression on the public in her return to the races at Bay Meadows, Saturday, and finished last. In fact, the former Blue Boot seemed as if she might have reversed the order of things and emerged as Miss Ogden, Dawn Breeze or some such hay-burner so poor was her speed. She was the favorite, but even Allan Grays hard urging failed to make her perform well. How Exotude managed to beat Indian Broom in last summers Longacrcs Mile is a problem that probably jwill never be solved.
