NEW ,000 ADDED STAKE FOR DUFFERIN PARK TORONTO, Ont., April 20. As intimated a few days ago, an important announcement . regarding another new stake has come from the Orpen offices. This prize, which will carry a ,000 added value, will perpetuate the memory of the late Thomas "Ching" Hare, partner of the late A. M. Orpen for many years in the operation of various race tracks. The race will be known as the Hare Memorial Handicap, will have its inaugural on the closing day of the Dufferin Park spring meeting and will be an open event at about one mile and an eighth for three-year-" olds and upward. This will be one of the richest prizes ever offered at a half-mile track anywhere and certainly the richest in the history of Dufferin Park. Conditions call for starters to pay 0 to the winner with ,000 added, of which 00 to the second, 00 to third and 00 to fourth.
