CANTWELL was under restraint in the early running, but improved his position after rounding the stretch turn, wore down MODEST QUEEN and drew away under urging to the end. MODEST QUEEN was sent into command with a rush, showed speed while saving ground, but swerved under pressure and faltered. GUITAR began slowly, but improved her position steadily and finished well on the inside. She stumbled at the finish. BUFF RYAN moved up fast after the start, showed a flash of speed and faltered. HIGH BLAME could not improve his position under urging. BRIGHT GRAY raced greenly all the way. CLEO C. could not keep up. CONDUCT raced greenly after showing speed. BELLRINGER displayed good speed from the start while saving ground, shook off his opposition rounding the stretch turn and drew away into an easy lead to win with speed in reserve. SQUIRREL was placed under pressure rounding the stretch turn and finished with determination. CONSUL was outrun early, but made up ground steadily and finished well on the outside. ST. ANNA made a determined bid entering the stretch and faltered in the final eighth. YARN SOX lacked early speed, but made up some ground at the end. JOVIAN had no mishaps. MR.
