ODDESA PLUCKY was rushed into the lead and drew clear rapidly, responded to strong urging after swinging wide on the stretch turn, then tired near the end, but withstood WHINCHAT. The latter, slow to begin and lucky to find room on the inside when improving her position, hung slightly in the last stages. ROLLS WIND, a strong factor from the start, held on well. GRACE WHISK, away slowly and in close quarters for a quarter mile, moved up fast when clear, but tired under pressure. PLEASE DOCTOR raced wide for five-sixteenths, but held on well. GAY JANE had no mishaps. HOPE DIAMOND had no. chance after being jostled back soon after the start. BLUE STAR quit. DELOVELY, outrun early, was blocked when attempting to improve her position nearing the far turn, came fast when steered to the outside, wore down DEAR ME after reaching the final eighth, drew clear rapidly, but tired near the end and had nothing left. tJLUE ICE, in close quarters on the lower turn and lucky to find room when improving his position, responded to strong urging in the stretch, but was no match for the winner. DEAR ME, steadied along early, disposed of WALL when ready, drew away under light urging and tired in the final eighth. WALL, used up in the pace, tired fast in the drive. ALSERVANT had no mishaps. ALLEGRO, away fast but outrun early, responded to strong urging when wearing down DETECTOR and won easily. The latter, rushed to the front on the inside, established a good lead early, gave way when challenged, then tired near the end, but was much the best of the others. SUPREME SPEED, in close quarters early, came fast when clear and finished well. SURE OFF, slow to reach his stride, improved his position after a quarter and held on well. HELLO CAP tired. REMBRANDT lacked racing room during the opening quarter. YALE O NINE raced greenly. BILBOQUET bore out soon after the start and carried VANWIND with him. Scratched Max Forst, 116; Utica, 116. ASSIST, outrun early, was sent to the inside nearing the stretch and closed with a rush. ADA W. showed an even effort. ATINA was in close quarters. RIPPLEALONG, used up in the pace, tired after five-eiehths. ZEVANAID was done after a half mile. EXCHANGE CLUB had early speed.
