MISS AMIE found an opening on the inside in the stretch to finish gamely. INDIAN LODGE lacked his usual early speed and, although moving up gamely rounding the stretch turn, was used up from his early efforts. KUMREIGH lost much ground by racing wide. PURSE STRINGS and ARIGOTAL tired in the stretch. JOCKIDE was started from outside the gate and was outrun. Overweight Miss Amie, 2 pounds. SEVENTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. SIR ORACLE raced to the front early and, racing SPEED TO SPARE and HAPPY BOLIVAR into defeat, had enough left at the end to hold AIR CHUTE safe. The latter, probably best but poorly ridden, was permitted to drop many lengths back of the leaders in the first half mile, then moved up gamely approaching the stretch turn, but was all over the track and met with much trouble in the stretch, but finished well and was gaining. BILL FARNSWORTH made a strong move after entering the stretch and raced well to the end. HAPPY BOLIVAR and SPEED TO SPARE quit badly. BLIND BLARNEY, showing good early speed and well handled, caught KELCONARD when the latter began to tire in the stretch and raced well to the finish to win under mild urging. DAILY NEWS saved, ground while making his move and, going gamely to the end under a hustling ride, bested BROAD ROYAL near the end. BROAD ROYAL was always close up and loomed up dangerously in the stretch, but tired a trifle near the finish. CHILNORE was in close quarters most of the way and had little chance with the ride. TEMPER could not raise a respectable gallop. KELCONARD raced to the front early to open up a good lead, but tired when the real racing began. DODLOO raced wide.
