LADY FLASH SPRINT WINNER Defeats Crack Band in Headliner at River Downs — Threat of Rain Prevails Throughout Day. CINCINNATI, Ohio. May 27.— Threatening skies and a good attendance prevailed today at River Downs as Lady Flash, three-year-old daughter of Poly or Ping Coates, defeated a good band of sprinters in the fifth and feature race of the program. Throughout the afternoon it appeared as though rain would mar the days program here. Bringing together probably the best field of sprinters on the course, the field was away fast with Bill Donoghue, the public choice, leading in the early stages with Lady Flash and Black Mistress following closely. The finish found Black Mistress second and John Allen third. Lady Flash moved into command from the outside as the field made the first turn and led the remainder of the way, cinching her victory by one and one-half lengths. Black Mistress forced the pace at all times, holding her position safe but never threatening the winner. Imperial Jones and Chinese Red were never contenders. Bill Donoghue ran prominently in the early stages but tired in the stretch and finished fourth,
