j PASCH SOLIDIFIES AS 2 TO 1 j j CHOICE FOR EPSOM DERBY | Special Cablegram. LONDON, England, May 27.— At a call over the card on the Derby Stakes here last night H. E. Morris Pasch hardened into a 2 to 1 choice to win that race after all available higher odds had been eagerly snapped up. It is likely that the Two Thousand Guineas winner will shorten further for the great classic, to be run at Epsom next Wednesday. Other candidates to come in for good support were the Aga Khans Mirzah II. and Lord Astors Pound Foolish, backed down from opening odds of 100 to 6, to 100 to 7. Outside of the favorite, Pasch. the Indian potentates Mirzah II. is one of the steadiest-played horses in the race. There w also much support for Sir Lawrence Phillipps Flyon, backed down from an opening of 80 to 1 until finally 25 to 1 was the longest odds obtainable
