i j | GOOD RIVER DOWNS PROM Netherland Plaza Handicap Feature of Half -Holiday Card — Yantis Heads Field of Six. CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 27.— The feature of Saturdays eight race program at River Downs will be the ,500 added Netherland Plaza Handicap to be run over a mile and a sixteenth which brings together a field of six crack distance performers. Yantis, which will be ridden by the veteran jockey, Earl Pool, drew top weight of 110 pounds. Mose Goldblatts Dnieper and Oddesa Farms Oddesa Girl each have been assigned 108 pounds while Star Banner with 106, Butter Milk at 103 and Unselfish with 101 pounds complete the field. A bit of local color was added to the handicap when Mose Goldblatt, Cincinnati sportsman, shipped the consistent Dnieper here from Churchill Downs to contest in the feature. Star Banner has given a good account of herself in her »aces this year, while Butter Milk, another Kentucky-owned entrant, la making her first start of the meeting. The co-feature with the Netherland Plaza Handicap on Saturdays program is the eighth race, an overnight claiming event to be run over two miles and forty yards. This marathon drew ten entrants and has a ,000 purse. A small trophy will be presented to the winner by "Little Jimsie" of the "Worlds Worst Radio Program."
